Our next single is due out on 16th Feb (our lovely patrons will get a sneak preview next week) and this is a short video about the song.
Eddi Jaku lived to be 101 and was an inspirational human being. He was a German Jew, a holocaust survivor, who spent time in Auschwitz. Having survived when so many perished, he vowed to be the happiest man on earth. He wrote a book of that title which was the inspiration for our song.
Our song is in honour of an amazing man and a wonderful sentiment. Every time we sing it we count our blessings – we have not had to live with persecution, terror, unbearable loss and heartache.
Thanks to our lovely local friends who allowed us to film in Beatons Wood and to Alex Thomas for the filming.
This is the second single to be released from our forthcoming album, The Holloway which is due for release on 31st March.
