I am taking orders for homemade pies & thank you to those who have already joined in. This weekend pies are golden shortcrust pastry made with a mix of wholemeal spelt flour & plain from @shiptonmill & deep filled with gently poached free range chicken from @bluebell.farmer, sweet winter leeks from @fanfieldfarm & my staple vegetable of onions, celery & carrots. The bèchamel sauce is made with homemade chicken stock & a hint of tarragon.
