We may be quiet on the surface but underneath we’re paddling our little feet off! January is our admin month – booking gigs, emailing venues, promoters, clubs and festivals, updating the website, writing press releases and, most importantly, planning the year ahead. In fact, we’re trying to plan the next three years as we’re looking at funding applications for our Jay’s Nest Project.
But we’re still finding time to be creative, practising some new songs and trying out a new PA system.
We have 2 more music videos to make before the album release. Talking of which, we’re planning the launch gig too!
Our new t-shirt designs are taking shape – we’re using a company called Inkthreadable who have good environmental and ethical credentials. All the t-shirts that we have chosen to include in our shop are organic cotton, vegan materials and printed with vegan inks. This time we’ll have a few different colours and fits to choose from as well as a variety of designs. Right now we’re trying to work out how to add these to our new Milton Hide Merch shop..
Our next ‘story behind’ post is due next week so we’re writing that too. See? All very creative!
